The Connect Module can be retrofitted to eBikes with the smart system, provided that the eBike manufacturer’s approval has been granted in the Bosch DiagnosticTool 3 via the ‘Connect Module ready’ entry.

Installation and all repairs to the ConnectModule may only be carried out by authorised specialist dealers. This requires specialised expert knowledge. Incorrect installation can lead to the ConnectModule or the eBike no longer being operated in compliance with the law.
